The Wagner Tuning Performance intercooler is a high-performance cooling system that has been specially developed for the KTM X-Bow of 2.0 TFSI turbo engine. This indirect charge air cooling solution (water-cooled intercooler) is manufactured entirely from aluminum and replaces the original intercooler as a direct replacement.
Of core dimensions of 222mm x 297mm x 95mm and end cabinets made of cast aluminium (developed with CAD and CFD), this intercooler delivers a 80% larger external core content and a 33% higher air mass flow compared to the original, with lower back pressure. The LLK connection to the throttle valve has been enlarged from Ø62mm to Ø70mm, resulting in improved cooling performance, more power and torque, and mechanical relief of the turbocharger.
