The Wagner Performance intercooler kit has been developed for the BMW 525d (E60/E61) and extracts the full potential from the cooling and performance.
The core measures 530 mm x 244 [134] mm x 150 [50] mm in staircase design with a volume of 13.5 liters, what a 87% larger inflow surface area and 95% more charge air volume yields compared to the standard intercooler. The Performance high-power grid and the free-form cast aluminum Terminal boxes (developed in CAD) minimize back pressure. With a weight of only 9.8 kg The intercooler remains lightweight. An anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction ensures durable cooling. Installation is plug & play as a 1:1 replacement for the OEM intercooler, retaining the original charge air hoses. The kit is also suitable for the BMW 530d, 535d, and 635d. For the 525d and 530d, a modification to the module carrier is required.
