The Wagner Performance intercooler kit is developed for Mercedes models with the 3.0L V6 biturbo M276 engine (M 276 DE 30 AL) and replaces the original water-cooled charge-air intercooler. With a 133% larger net volume This upgrade ensures lower intake air temperatures, improved airflow, and more stable performance under high load.
The intercooler has net dimensions of 222 mm x 297 mm x 95 mm and a net volume of 6.3 liters (compared to 2.7 liter OEM). The optimized in the CAD system and with CFD simulations cast aluminum end cabinets maximize internal airflow with minimal back pressure and relieve the turbo. A heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating ensures durable cooling. The kit comes with a Ø57 mm (2.25 in) aluminum boost tube and two 1/8 NPT WMI connections in the upper terminal box, ideal for a water-methanol injection system. Installation is 100% plug-and-play.
