The Wagner Competition intercooler kit has been developed for the Subaru WRX STi 2.5 Turbo (from 2014) and takes engine cooling and performance to a higher level. The intercooler has a core dimension of 530 mm x 205 mm x 95 mm with a total volume of 10.3 liters and offers 86% more charge air volume and a 20% larger inflow surface area than the standard intercooler.
The Competition Tube Fin-net has been specifically developed for the requirements of the Subaru WRX STi and delivers excellent cooling performance. The cast aluminum end cabinets have been optimized using CFD simulations in a CAD system for ideal internal airflow, while maintaining back pressure at the level of the OEM cooler. Weighing 7.3 kg, the intercooler remains lightweight. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties ensures long-lasting and optimal cooling. Installation is a simple plug-and-play 1:1 replacement using the original mounting points. Please note: not suitable for vehicles with a strut brace.
