The Wagner Competition front radiator is the essential upgrade for the cooling of the Mercedes-AMG A45, CLA45 and GLA45 with the 2.0L M133 turbo engine. This engine uses an indirect charge air cooling circuit with a separate cooling water circuit; by lowering the cooling water temperature, the charge air cooling is directly improved.
The Competition racing mesh increases the volume of the front radiator by 79% (7.14 liters vs. OEM 3.99 liters) and the radiator is with 32 mm depth twice as thick as the series cooler (16 mm). The optimal ratio between the inner and outer surface ensures maximum heat transfer and sufficient airflow to adjacent components. The increased cooling water volume stabilizes the system thermals over a longer period. Each radiator is equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for a long-lasting cooling effect. Installation is virtually plug & play thanks to the detailed manual, and the radiator is now supplied including a parts certificate.
