The Wagner Competition intercooler kit improves the performance of the Volkswagen Tiguan 5N 2.0 TSI significant. The Competition high-efficiency network ensures excellent cooling performance with minimal back pressure. The intercooler was developed for engines of 125-155 kW (170-211 hp) from the period 2008-2015.
With a core of 610 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm and a total volume of 17.45 liters offers the intercooler 50% more charge air volume and a 10% larger cooling front compared to the standard part. The brush-shaped end boxes of cast aluminum are designed with CAD and flow-optimized, whereby the weight remains limited to just 9.2 kgThe inlets and outlets have been enlarged to Ø67 mm for improved air supply and exhaust. A special anti-corrosion coating extends the service life and ensures excellent heat conduction. Installation is fully plug & play (1:1 replacement) using the original mounting points, without any additional modifications.
