The Wagner Competition intercooler kit has been developed for the BMW E46 318d, 320d and 330d and provides superior cooling of the intake air, especially for racing use.
The Competition core (Tube Fin) meet 550mm x 168 [139]mm x 120 [100]mm in staircase design with a net volume of 10.7 liters, what a 31% larger inflow surface area (919 cm²) and 205% more net volume yields compared to the standard intercooler. The cast aluminum Terminal cabinets have been optimized in the CAD system using CFD simulations for minimal back pressure and maximum cooling efficiency. The connection diameters are Ø63 mm (OEM snap connection). Weighing only 7.1 kg The intercooler remains lightweight. An anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction ensures durable cooling. Installation is plug & play using the original mounting points. A suitable charge and boost tube is required for certain models.
