The Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler Kit has been specially developed for the Fiat Abarth 500 1.4 Turbo (99 KW/135 PS), produced from 2008 to 2016. This kit offers significant performance improvements due to its larger size and improved airflow, resulting in better engine response and efficiency. This product is not plug-and-play for US models of the Fiat 500. The Wagner Tuning intercooler features an advanced competition core (Tube Fin) with dimensions of 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance core has an 85% larger frontal area and 131% more volume compared to the standard intercooler, resulting in a more efficient cooling system. The aluminum tailpipes have been designed using CAD technology and optimized with CFD simulations for ideal airflow and minimal drag. The intercooler is mounted at the front of the car and replaces the original side intercoolers. Thanks to the new elliptical exhaust hose connection and the high-quality silicone hoses from Wagner Tuning, the charge air distance is minimized. This results in significantly improved engine response and lower back pressure in the intercooler system, contributing to a sporty driving experience.
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity protects the intercooler from all environmental influences, guaranteeing long-lasting and optimal cooling performance. Installation is simple and can be performed by replacing the original intercooler. This kit is subject to continuous quality control to ensure the highest standards.
