The Wagner Competition intercooler kit has been developed for the Renault Clio 4 RS 2.0 and gets the maximum out of the engine's cooling and performance. The newly developed Competition high-performance network is very light, meaning the complete intercooler only 5.5 kg weighs.
The net dimensions are 300 mm x 222 mm x 125 mm, with a charge air volume of 7.7 liters. This results in a 16% larger intake surface area (66,600 mm² vs. OEM 57,600 mm²) and 113% more charge air volume (7.7 liters vs. OEM 3.6 liters) compared to the original part. The end boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized with flow analyses in the CFD system. Integrated baffles at the inlet ensure uniform filling of the intercooler and minimal pressure losses. The inlet and outlet connections have been enlarged to Ø60 mm and the original snap connections have been replaced. Installation is plug & play as a 1:1 replacement on the original mounting points.
