The Wagner Competition intercooler kit has been developed for the Opel Corsa D OPC and GSI 1.6 Turbo and replaces the standard intercooler for better cooling and performance.
With core dimensions of 580 mm x 437 mm x 56 mm and with a total volume of 14.2 liters, this intercooler offers a 226% larger cooling surface area (2,534 cm² vs. OEM 776.25 cm²) and 246% more charge air volume than the standard intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-power core (Tube Fin) also allows sufficient airflow to adjacent components such as the water cooler. Weighing only 7.6 kg, the intercooler is light yet robust. The cast aluminum terminal boxes are designed in CAD and optimized with CFD simulations, with an integrated air guide for uniform filling of the core. The inlets and outlets have been enlarged to Ø65 mm and the kit contains reinforced silicone hoses. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties ensures long-lasting cooling. Installation is plug & play.
