The Wagner Competition intercooler kit has been developed for the Hyundai i20 N 1.6 T-GDI and drastically improves cooling performance, minimizes back pressure, and ensures noticeably more cool, dense air for the engine. The high-quality stepped net has dimensions of 580mm x 181mm x 70mm + 580mm x 120mm x 80mm and a volume of 12.9 liters, an increase of 98% compared to the standard cooler. The 46% larger inflow surface area (1050 cm² vs. OEM 720 cm²), in combination with the stepped mesh, ensures maximum heat transfer. The cast aluminum End cabinets have been optimized using CAD design and CFD simulations for minimal back pressure and ideal airflow. The new Competition mesh (Tube Fin) and a specially manufactured air guide ensure ideal airflow, even to adjacent components. At only 8.5 kg, the intercooler is particularly lightweight, and the anti-corrosion coating protects against environmental influences. The inlet and outlet diameter is Ø65 mm.
