It offers a whopping 10% more flow surface area and a massive 50% more charge volume compared to the standard Audi S3 intercooler. The innovative high-performance core of the Competition intercooler not only ensures excellent cooling, but also guarantees sufficient airflow for adjacent components such as the water cooler. Despite its size, the intercooler remains surprisingly light (S3 OEM 8 kg / Wagner Tuning 9.2 kg). The free-form cast aluminum end caps, developed in a CAD system, ensure optimal internal air distribution. The included CNC-machined hose connections with a diameter of Ø67 mm come with matching silicone hoses. This results in an intercooler with significantly less back pressure than the standard model. Furthermore, our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties, ensuring permanent and optimal cooling, which translates into a noticeable performance improvement.
