The Wagner Competition Gen.2 intercooler kit for the Audi RS6 C5 4.2 BiTurbo is a high-performance redesign of the original Audi OEM intercooler. The core size and efficiency have been increased and the end tanks improved to eliminate OEM bottlenecks, ensuring higher flow capacity and better charge cooling. The intercooler utilizes tube fin technology with cast aluminum and CNC-machined end tanks.
The core measures 255 mm x 230 mm x 105 mm and delivers 6158 cm³ air volume, compared to the OEM dimensions of 250 mm x 205 mm x 65 mm, at 3,331 cm³. That is 39% more surface area and 98% greater airflow capacity. CAD/FEM-optimized cast aluminum end tanks and lightweight carbon composite ducts improve airflow. The new bumper intake grille is designed for high airflow with the option to mount OEM fog lights. Installation is optimized for an OEM fit.
