With stepped core dimensions of 660 mm x 282 [254] mm x 120 [65] mm does the intercooler offer a 32% larger cooling front (1861 cm² vs. 1407 cm² OEM) and no less than 279% more core volume (21.3 liters compared to 5.62 liters OEM). The terminal cabinets of cast aluminum were designed with CAD and optimized with CFD simulations. An integrated air guide in the inlet distributes the air evenly throughout the entire core. The inlet and outlet have a diameter of Ø60 mm and the intercooler weighs 11.5 kgAn anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity guarantees durable cooling. Installation is plug & play using the original mounting points. For pre-facelift models, a slight modification to the grille may be required.
