The Wagner Competition intercooler EVO3.X for the Audi RS3 8V 2.5 TFSI is available with a TÜV certificate and two different core options. This intercooler is suitable for applications of more than 600 HP; for applications under 600 HP, the standard version is recommended. The EVO3.X core option was developed in collaboration with a German Audi tuner featuring an optimized design; the external dimensions remain the same as the original version, while the internal core has been further optimized.
The high-performance intercooler has core dimensions of 515mm x 367mm x 95mm = 16.5L and offers a 84% larger cooling surface and 101% more charging volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition Intercooler Core consists of high-quality Tube and Fin cores with internal turbulators, combined with CFD-optimized cast aluminum end tanks. Additional air guides ensure even filling, excellent cooling, and minimal pressure drop. Intercooler and crossmember form a stable unit of only 14.1 kg. Installation is carried out on the original mounting points (1:1 replacement). The inlet and outlet diameters are 68 mm.
