The Wagner Competition intercooler kit has been developed for the Audi S1 2.0 TFSI (8X) and maximizes the power and efficiency of the engine, even under severe conditions. The intercooler offers a 44% larger intake surface area (1085 cm² vs. OEM 753.5 cm²) and 70% more charge air volume (10.2 liters vs. OEM 6.0 liters) compared to the original part.
The specially developed Competition high-performance network offers excellent cooling properties, ensuring the motor remains at the optimal operating temperature. The freeform terminal cabinets of cast aluminum have been developed in the CAD system to maximize internal airflow and minimize back pressure. The intercooler has been tested up to 6 bar compressive strength and weighs only 7.65 kg. With an intake and exhaust of 60 mm and an anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties guarantees long-lasting cooling. Installation is plug & play as a replacement for the OEM intercooler.
