The Wagner Competition intercooler kit has been developed for the Audi A4 B8 Allroad 2.0 TDI and related A4/A5 B8 2.0 TDI models, and replaces the factory intercooler to maximize engine efficiency.
With dimensions of 610 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm and a charge air volume of 17,446 liter This kit offers a 178% larger inflow surface area and 158% more charge air volume than the factory intercooler. Despite its dimensions, the intercooler weighs only 9.1 kg. The cast aluminum end cabinets are designed with CAD and optimized via CFD simulations; an integrated air guide ensures uniform filling of the core and reduces back pressure. The connection diameter has been increased to Ø67 mm and the kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties ensures long-lasting cooling. The intercooler is tested up to 6 bar and is installed plug & play.
