The TTE900+ is a phase 3 hybrid turbo upgrade by TheTurboEngineers, developed for the BMW 4.4 V8 twin-turbo S63 and S63TU engines as used in the M5 and M6 F-seriesThis set is aimed at riders who want maximum performance combined with a strong spool and controlled response.
The TTE900+ is based on the original twin-scroll turbochargers, but technically completely reworked. The original compressor is replaced by a much larger TTE billet compressor with extended tip technologyThe compressor cover is CNC machined to optimal tolerances and provided with 76mm CNC Billet Inlets for maximum air supply.
On the turbine side, the turbine housing is CNC milled to make room for a larger, lightweight 9-blade TTE turbineThis turbine reduces back pressure and exhaust gas temperatures, allowing higher boost levels to be safely achieved. The result is 900+ hp potential while maintaining a surprisingly fast spool for this power level.
A TTE reinforced bearing package replaces the original thrust bearing to ensure durability under high loads.
Balancing
For maximum reliability and performance, all turbos are first low-speed balanced up to 2800 rpm in multiple planes. Then the complete CHRA high-speed VSR balanced up to 250,000 rpm on TTE's own VSR machine. Each turbo comes with a numbered balance test result document.
