The TTE855 EVO is the direct evolution of the legendary TTE777 and uses a much larger TTE billet compressor (7+7 blades) and a low-mass 9-blade turbine, which provides lower exhaust gas pressure, faster spooling and a very wide torque range. Measurements show 500 Nm already at 2620 rpm and until 900 Nm at 3500 rpm, which makes this turbo exceptional for both street and track use.
The exhaust manifold is CNC-ported to fit perfectly to the cylinder head, thus maximizing the gas flow velocity towards the turbine. In combination with the TTE motorsport bearing package maintains reliability at high boost pressures.
For new orders, the latest generation BorgWarner turbos, inclusive OEM Audi thermal heat insulation on manifold and turbine housing for lower engine compartment temperatures and maximum durability.
