The TTE7XX is the first hybrid performance upgrade from TheTurboEngineers for the Alfa Romeo Giulia, developed for the ultimate combination of power, super-fast response and OEM-like plug & play installationThis upgrade uses the original turbochargers as a base and is designed as a powerful first step towards serious performance builds.

For the TTE7XX the original compressors are replaced by larger, more efficient TTE billet compressor wheelsThe compressor housing is CNC machined to optimal tolerances to maximize the use of the new compressor profile. On the turbine side, the original turbine is replaced and the turbine housing is CNC machined to make room for a larger 8-bladed TTE special turbine, which provides significantly more gas flow and lower exhaust gas temperatures.

In addition, the original thrust bearing is replaced by a TTE 360 degree upgrade bearing, manufactured in-house for maximum reliability under higher loads. With the right supporting hardware, up to 700 hp feasible, while maintaining drivability and response.

Please note: this product is a revision and upgrade service. At this moment are no new TTE7XX turbos available from stockThe upgrade is performed on a customer-supplied set of turbochargers.

Balancing

Balance is crucial for durability and performance. All TTE7XX turbos are first low-speed balanced up to 2800 rpm in multiple planes. Then the complete CHRA high-speed VSR balanced up to 250,000 rpm on TTE's in-house VSR machine. Each turbo comes with a numbered balance test result document.
