The TTE650 is a hybrid turbo upgrade of TheTurboEngineers, developed for the Porsche 993 and 996 3.6 engines. This phase is currently only available via “I'll send you my old turbo”The upgrade focuses on more power while maintaining quick low-end response and OEM-like drivability.

For the TTE650 the original compressors are replaced by larger, more efficient TTE billet compressors with extended tip technologyOn the turbine side, the original BorgWarner K16 turbines preserved, but the leaves are carefully shortened to increase gas flow, reduce back pressure and reduce exhaust gas temperatures. This is combined with a motorsport-worthy bearing package for reliability under higher loads.

The result is a plug & play hybrid set with up to 650 PS potential and a rapid boost buildup.

Balancing

Balance is crucial for durability and performance. All TTE650 turbos are first low-speed multi-plane balanced up to 2800 rpm.The complete CHRA is then high-speed VSR balanced up to 250,000 rpm on TTE's in-house VSR machine. Each turbo comes with a numbered balance test result document.
