The original IHI turbocharger is completely redesigned internally. The cast compressor wheel makes way for a larger, high-efficiency billet 7+7 compressor wheel, CNC-machined for maximum airflow and pressure stability. On the exhaust side, a larger, 9-bladed High-Flow turbine—designed exclusively by TTE—is installed, delivering increased gas flow, lower exhaust gas temperatures, and reduced backpressure, resulting in a safer and more powerful turbocharger system.
Additionally, the turbocharger features a reinforced 360° thrust bearing system for increased durability at higher boost pressures, and a CNC-machined billet inlet adapter that utilizes the original O-ring. Each TTE500 is individually high-speed balanced (VSR) and comes with an official balance report with a serial number.
