The TTE500+ upgrade turbo has been developed for the 2.5 TFSI engine and delivers a complete Ultra Plug & Play performance solution for Audi TTRS 8J, RS3 8P & 8V.1 and RS Q3This upgrade is based on the original turbocharger, but completely reworked to a higher specification with 500+ hp potential, without compromising on response and reliability.
The heart of the TTE500+ is a much larger TTE billet compressor wheel immediately 58 mm inlet, combined with a CNC-optimized compressor housing with precise tolerances for maximum efficiency. On the exhaust side, a TTE 9-blade high-flow low-mass turbine applied, which provides more peak power and a wider torque range than previous K24 configurations.
The exhaust manifold runners are CNC matched and ported to optimize the transition from cylinder head to turbine. For durability under higher loads, a reinforced BorgWarner motorsport bearing system applied, together with a upgraded OE spring loaded actuator and TTE reinforced clamps.
Unique to this set is the CNC-optimized OEM intake pipe, which is included and equipped with a TTE-designed Viton O-ring seal for a constant and reliable seal. Each turbo is multiply balanced, inclusive high-speed VSR balancing up to 250,000 rpm, and comes with a numbered balance test report. Software recalibration is required.
