The TTE IS38Race is the ultimate motorsport upgrade turbocharger based on the original IHI IS38 turbocharger—not a cheap clone. Specially developed for the VAG EA888.3 1.8 and 2.0 TSI engines, this turbocharger combines OEM reliability with TTE upgrades for higher boost and long-lasting performance.

The turbo features a TTE upgraded bearing pack, CNC muffler removal for improved flow and sound, and a motorsport-calibrated core. Each unit is dynamically balanced to 250,000 RPM and comes with an official balance report. Suitable as a direct replacement for a standard IS38, without re-mapping or additional software calibration.
