The Scorpion Non-Resonant Cat-Back System is specially designed for the Mini Cooper S R56 and R57 and offers an ideal upgrade for car enthusiasts seeking improved performance and a sportier sound. After its launch in 1959, the classic Mini quickly became a global icon, especially following the collaboration with Cooper in the early 1960s to develop the legendary Cooper and Cooper S variants. The Cooper S performed sensationally in the Monte Carlo Rally, where it took victory in 1964 and 1965. Production of the classic Mini ended in 2000, but was quickly followed by the new generation BMW Mini, launched the same year. Scorpion For over 30 years, Mini Motorsport has been producing performance exhausts for both classic and new generations of Minis, and has positioned itself as the main technical partner of the increasingly popular Mini Challenge racing series, ensuring a noticeable transfer of technology from track to road. This new cat-back system is manufactured from premium 304 stainless steel and was developed in conjunction with the Mini Challenge series as a direct replacement for the more restrictive OEM systems. The non-resonant system for the R56, R57, R58, and R59 features a 70mm pipe diameter, a non-resonant center section, and an acoustically refined rear silencer. Customers can choose from a variety of tailpipe finishes, including 90mm Daytona Polished, Daytona Black Ceramic, Ascari Carbon Fiber, and Monaco Polished or Black Ceramic. The hand-built systems are designed to improve power by increasing gas flow and perfectly balancing back pressure. In addition to the power gains, drivers will also notice a sharper throttle response.
