This Scorpion decat / cat downpipe is designed for BMW models with the B58 engine and replaces the standard catalytic converter for maximum exhaust gas flow. The downpipe is made of 100% T304 stainless steel, TIG welded and performed with an impressive 5” (125 mm) diameter, which greatly reduces back pressure.
The installation is direct bolt-on and fits without modifications between the turbo and the OEM center muffler or a aftermarket sports exhaustThe result is faster turbo spooling, more power (with tuning) and a more aggressive exhaust note. In addition, the downpipe provides a weight saving of approx. 1.5 kg compared to OEM.
