KWE Intercoolers have core dimensions of 255x280x95mm and are designed with an improved intake for superior cooling efficiency. They come with installation instructions and are made entirely of aluminum, featuring flow-optimized headers and KWE branding. These intercoolers use plate-fin cores to reduce backpressure and improve cooling, matching the fin height of the original coolers. Developed by improving OEM core designs, they are more efficient and retain the 65/70mm intake/exhaust dimensions, compatible with OEM mounting brackets. Modifications to the original air ducts were made until February 2018, followed by the introduction of custom air ducts based on 3D scans of vehicles for a better fit with the larger core.

These intercoolers significantly increase performance, adding 112 hp and reducing intake air temperature by 35°C compared to stock coolers. They are compatible with RS6 C6 Performance intercoolers and are installed with the included screws, designed to function optimally without OEM fans.
