It do88 Intake system for the BMW M2 Competition, M3 and M4 F8X is designed as a complete replacement of the original intake system. The system uses large BMC air filters, a sealed air filter housing and 76 mm (3") mandrel curved seamless aluminium tubing for optimal air supply to the turbos.
The system was developed based on a detailed 3D scan of the engine bay of a BMW M3 Competition. To prevent the intake of warm air from the engine bay, the system is equipped with heat shields, covers, and rubber seals. The original air ducts that carry fresh air from the grille to the air filters are retained. The intake pipes and heat shields are finished with a matte black textured paint, while the air filter housing covers are made of lightweight polycarbonate with a satin black finish.
