This kit is for you if you have significant power goals and want to upgrade to the absolute best! Our pressure tube offers significantly better airflow than the stock tube. This has been confirmed in multiple tests, both in the car and on our own SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench.
The pressure tube is made of 3" mandrel-bent seamless aluminum tubing. A CNC-machined sensor flange ensures a perfect fit. Custom-made, high-quality silicone tubing with 4 layers of polyester/aramid reinforcement. These tubing can withstand very high temperatures and pressures!
Always remember that the OEM intercooler pipes and hoses are designed for the power output the car is built for, and an increase in power or even very intensive use of the car in its standard configuration can cause the OEM pipes and hoses to not deliver the performance you need. Therefore, only after engine tuning will the do88 pressure pipes offer a performance improvement over the OEM pipes!
• Airflow at 0.1bar/1.45psi pressure drop: 737 CFM (542 CFM), 36% higher than do88! See diagram below.
• Designed to handle high pressure and temperatures!
• The tube has two connections for methanol injection (1/8 -27 NPT). The tube is supplied with blanking plugs in these connections.
