The CTS pulley has a smaller diameter than the standard pulley. The standard pulley is 63.25 mm, while the CTS pulley is 57.3 mm. This increases the speed at which the supercharger spins and, consequently, boost pressure. Increased boost pressure, combined with upgraded ECU software, results in a dramatic increase in power and torque across the entire power range. This does not increase stress or wear on the supercharger or engine components.
NB:
The CTS Supercharger Pulley Upgrade Kit must be used with the appropriateStage 2 performance software. Stage 2 performance software (not included) allows you to extract maximum boost and power from your 3.0TS/C engine while safely optimizing air-fuel ratios, timing, and boost pressure bleed. Most stage 2 software is compatible with this kit. Check with your tuner for compatibility.
