The best oil catch solution for the MK7+ GTI & Golf. The oil catch is used to prevent oil vapors from entering the intake manifold and clogging the intake valves of direct injection engines. NOTE: Check your engine mount bolt; it should have a stud to attach the oil catch. If you have a flathead bolt, you'll need to purchase this double-sided stud: N91029602 (See Photos)

During the winter months, the fluid in the oil pan can freeze and damage your engine. Pay extra attention to the fluid level, or you may choose to remove the oil pan during periods of subzero temperatures.
