The FMIC Kit for the MK1 Audi TT225Q is an excellent upgrade for both standard and modified cars. This kit offers a significant improvement in cooling compared to the competition and significant cooling advantages over the factory setup. These improvements are thanks to the high-density intercooler core and cast aluminum end tanks.
Every pipe in this kit is bead-rolled, so you don't have to worry about your boost pipes popping off or leaking. As if that weren't enough, this kit also uses black powder-coated aluminum piping, 4-ply silicone fittings, and stainless steel T-bolt clamps. This intercooler uses cast aluminum end tanks and a high-density bar-and-plate core. We pressure-test the cores before we ship them! This intercooler is rated at 450 crankshaft horsepower and measures 25.5" x 8" x 3". From end tank to end tank, it's 35.5".
PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to retain the headlight washers with this intercooler kit.
