This Alpha Competition downpipe decat is one of the best value upgrades you can find for the 2.0 TFSI EA888.4 engine. It fits perfectly without modifications between the turbo and the center exhaust section, making it suitable for the Golf 8 GTI and Octavia NX VRS with GPF, among others. Made of high-quality T304 stainless steel and hand-TIG welded – exactly what you need if you want to improve flow and sound.
Featuring an oversized 90mm (3.5") turbo flange that tapers to 76mm (3") of tubing, this downpipe optimizes exhaust flow without losing too much backpressure. It includes connections for the OPF sensors and features an integrated transition to the original catback.
