This lightweight exhaust system, exclusively designed for the hatchback version (W177), offers a stunning sensory experience. Crafted from high-grade titanium, it features a striking design featuring two pairs of titanium and carbon fiber tailpipes. The exhaust valve, whose housing is cast in-house, gives the exhaust note a richer, higher-frequency sound than standard, especially when shifting through gears. The result is a smooth, expansive sound that enhances the engine's tone without causing discomfort or drone for the occupants. A specially designed, perforated manifold tube on the valve side eliminates flow without compromising pressure pulse distribution, resulting in a more powerful sound. The use of titanium and a different configuration makes the system lighter than standard, resulting in optimized power and torque across the entire rev range. The optimized exhaust gas flow path offers greater tuning flexibility, which can be further exploited with the addition of the optional Evolution Link pipe kit (SS).
