Developed and tested in conjunction with the Slip-On Race (Titanium) exhaust system, this product is designed to upgrade the Akrapovič system for further tuning. The link pipe set has an immediate sharpness and depth that is delivered from the moment the engine is started. Pure sound is achieved with specially developed link pipes featuring high-flow performance catalysts with 200 CPSI, which eliminate OPFs/GPFs. Low-end riding fills the senses with a deep and raw iconic flat-six growl, and the powerful mid-range delivers a rich, strong, and high-frequency acoustic sensation at high revs—ideal for quick upshifts to experience the thrilling acoustics in the next higher gear, while downshifts are accompanied by sharp, race-inspired burbling sounds. Developed for use on closed-course competition tracks, it maintains cockpit comfort throughout the rev range, without drone or unwanted flow noise. Power and torque delivery have been significantly improved, with gains of +25.2 kW (34.2 hp) of power and +74.9 Nm of torque at 3,200 rpm, measured in back-to-back runs on the Akrapovič dyno compared to a Porsche 911 Turbo (992) with the standard Porsche sports exhaust system. The increased torque curve offers perfect response from low engine speeds. This exhaust system is not EC/ECE type-approved. ECU tuning is mandatory due to the elimination of OPF/GPF.
