The Akrapovič L-PO/T/17 Link Pipe Set is made of high-quality titanium and insulated with stainless steel. The front section is cast in the in-house foundry and shaped to provide the correct clearance for the standard shock absorbers. The sporty 200 cpsi catalytic converters are integrated and have additional insulation for heat protection. For cars without OPF, a new plug is included to disable the EGT sensor. The weight is 4.9 kg (38.9%) lighter than the standard system. In combination with the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium), power gains of 19.5 kW (26.5 hp) at 4,950 rpm and torque increases of 38.1 Nm at 4,900 rpm were measured on the Akrapovič dynamometer, tested against a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS with a standard exhaust. Due to the more direct gas flow, the sound has a true racing character with high-frequency tones. A further upgrade is available with the installation of the optional Evolution Header Set (Titanium).
