Airtec Motorsport Stage 2 intercooler upgrade for the Peugeot 208 GTi, developed to significantly improve cooling performance compared to the original intercooler. This is especially important for tuned 208 GTi's, where higher turbo pressure leads to rising intake temperatures and power loss.
To overcome the limitations of the OEM intercooler within the available space behind the bumper, Airtec opted for a high-flow twin-pass core designThis core is wider, higher and deeper than standard, resulting in a significant increase in frontal area and a significantly larger capacityThis makes optimal use of the available wind.
Despite the larger size, there remains sufficient air flow towards the top of the radiator, which is essential for reliable operation in warmer climates. In combination with high-flow one-piece molded cast end tanks the air flow is guided efficiently and the total cooling capacity increases significantly.
The intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper and requires no cutting or drilling requiredThe installation is complete reversible and can be returned to original without any problems. The complete set comes with Pro Hoses silicone connectors, all necessary mounting materials and clear assembly instructions with images.
The intercooler is finished in a Pro-Series Black finish and is available with or without Airtec logo. Optional are matching boost pipes available for both the airflow if the OEM+ appearance to further improve the engine compartment.
