The Stage 2 builds upon the successful Stage 1 Generation 3 intercooler and adds a specially developed air ram scoop toe. This air guide forces extra airflow through the intercooler core, further improving cooling performance and keeping charge temperatures even lower during heavy load.
To achieve maximum performance within the available space behind the bumper, the intercooler uses a 60 mm high-flow core which is approximately twice as high as the original intercooler and nearly 100 mm longer. This results in a huge increase in capacity and an impressive 127% larger frontal surface area compared to standard.
In combination with the smooth-flow cast end tanks and the integrated air ram scoop offers this intercooler significantly better airflow, lower intake temperatures, and more stable performance during prolonged load.
