This Generation 3 intercooler is the further development of the original Airtec ST intercooler, which was first introduced in 2005. The latest version features a larger core, improved cast end tanks, and an even more efficient airflow.
To achieve maximum performance within the limited space behind the bumper, Airtec has opted for a core that is approximately twice as tall as the original and nearly 100 mm longer. This results in a massive increase in capacity and a 100% larger frontal surface area compared to the OEM intercooler.
The combination of the large 60 mm core and the smooth-flow cast end tanks ensures significantly lower intake temperatures, more power, and more stable performance during prolonged load.
The kit is supplied complete, including all necessary mounting materials for immediate installation.
