Stable oil temperatures under heavy loads – this Airtec external oil cooler kit has been developed for the Renault Megane MK4 RS and is aimed at drivers who struggle to control oil temperature track days or sporty street use designed and developed in the UK based on years of experience with oil coolers for performance and track cars. The challenge was to integrate a large external oil cooler in a position to maximise airflow, whilst utilising the car's existing mounting points. The result is a neat and well-designed solution that mounts behind the bumper for direct airflow.
The kit comprises a proven 13-row Airtec Motorsport oil cooler , a billet aluminium take-off adapter , a custom laser-cut and powder-coated mounting bracket and high-quality braided pipework with Aerotec connectors . The kit comes complete with all mounting hardware and clear installation instructions.
Please note: This is a motorsport product . After installation, a slight increase in engine noise in the interior may be noticeable. In addition, slight trimming of the original plastic air duct necessary for correct installation.
