Airtec Motorsport oil catch can upgrade for the Mini Cooper S and JCW F56 (Pre-LCI), developed as an essential preventive upgrade for direct-injection engines for both track use and sporty street use.
In direct injection engines, the original crankcase ventilation system can cause problems over time carbon construction in the intake system. Oil and vapor residues form a fouling layer on the intake ducts and valves, resulting in reduced airflow, performance, and efficiency.
The Airtec catch can captures these contaminants before they reach the intake system. As a result, the engine stays cleaner and expensive cleaning treatments are prevented.
The kit has been specifically developed for the F56 Pre-LCI and uses a high-quality billet aluminum mounting bracket, finished in satin black, ensuring the catch can is placed neatly and securely in the engine compartment.
The catch can itself is equipped with a internal baffle and a oil dipstick and is easy to detach for maintenance. The set comes complete with Pro Hoses silicone hoses, all mounting materials and clear assembly instructions.
NB: This kit is only suitable for Pre-LCI models and does not fit facelift (LCI) versions.
