Airtec Motorsport expands the Suzuki range with the intercooler upgrade for the Swift Sport Boosterjet (ZC33S), suitable for both track use and fast driving.
To ensure performance doesn't suffer during prolonged, intensive driving, we've developed a larger, free-flowing intercooler that replaces the smaller, more restrictive OEM version.
The original intercooler is wide but shallow, and is significantly obstructed by the radar sensor and air duct located directly in front of the intercooler core. We optimized the available space by designing a core that fits next to the radar sensor but is much deeper. Furthermore, the remaining available surface area was used to create a more efficient tailpipe design.
The result is a core that's 80% deeper than the original, resulting in a massive 88% increase in total capacity. There's also a significant increase in unobstructed frontal area, optimizing airflow.
This intercooler is the only one on the market with 15% larger inlet and outlet diameters, enlarged to 60mm compared to the standard 52mm, to reduce drag. The kit comes with Pro Hoses silicone tubing, which connects to the OEM cold-side boost line and replaces the line to the intake/hot side for improved airflow. An optional enlarged exhaust/cold-side boost pipe kit is available.
The intercooler fits neatly behind the original bumper without any trimming or cutting required and can easily be restored to its original condition. The comprehensive mounting kit includes all mounting hardware and detailed installation instructions.
