To prevent performance loss during prolonged heavy loads, Airtec Motorsport has developed a larger and freer-flowing intercooler developed. Thanks to the stepped core design maximum frontal area is used within the limited space behind the bumper.
This results in a significant increase in total capacity and a bigger one frontal surface compared to standard. As a result, the available airflow is utilized more efficiently and intake temperatures remain more stable under heavy load.
In combination with high-flow one-piece cast end tanks and a internal air duct the airflow is optimally distributed, resulting in a significant improvement in cooling capacity and efficiency.
The intercooler is designed in a satin black finish and comes with all necessary mounting materials and a clear assembly manual. Assembly required no adjustment to the bumper, although slight adjustment to the lower grille may be necessary.
