Airtec Motorsport enclosed induction kit for the Mini Cooper S and John Cooper Works (JCW) F56 with the 2.0 turbo petrol engine.
This version is designed to improve airflow without increasing inlet temperatures, resulting in more stable performance during sporty use.
This enclosed induction kit is Developed in-house at Airtec HQ in the UK and uses a large cotton performance air filter which is fully housed in a closed three-piece housingThis effectively shields hot engine air and keeps the intake air cooler than with an open induction system. The kit is equipped with a laser-cut aluminum enclosed heat shield which acts as a thermal barrier against engine heat. The housing is powered by cold driving wind through the original front intake, which significantly reduces heat soak. In combination with the included aluminum intake pipe an efficient and stable air supply is created. The result is more power, faster throttle response, An sportier induction sound and a tight OEM+ appearance in the engine compartment.
The induction kit is a direct replacement of the original system and requires no drilling or cuttingAll necessary mounting materials and clear assembly instructions are included.
NB: check before ordering which MAF sensor configuration your Mini has. Pre-LCI and LCI (facelift) models use a different MAF sensor and placement, which determines the correct execution.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the advantage of an enclosed induction kit?
A closed induction kit provides cooler intake air and more stable performance than an open system.
Is this induction kit suitable for daily use?
Yes, this kit is suitable for everyday driving and sporty use.
Why is the MAF sensor important?
Pre-LCI and LCI models have different MAF sensors and placement. Check this beforehand to select the correct model.
Does this kit produce more sound?
Yes, the induction sound becomes sportier, without excessive heat build-up.
