Airtec Motorsport induction kit for the Mini Cooper S and John Cooper Works (JCW) F56 with the 2.0 turbo petrol engine.
This induction kit replaces the original intake system, which in its standard form significantly restricts airflow, throttle response, and sound. The kit is Developed in-house at Airtec HQ in the UK and connects directly to the original mounting points.
By using a large foam performance air filter the engine can breathe more freely, resulting in better throttle response, more consistent performance and a clearly sportier induction soundTo limit heat absorption from the engine compartment, the set is equipped with a laser cut aluminum heat shieldThis directs cool air towards the filter and contributes to more stable inlet temperatures during sporting use.
The whole is finished in a black powder-coated finish for a durable OEM+ look. The induction kit comes with a aluminum intake pipe inclusive air mass meter connection and a Pro Hoses silicone connection hose, available in multiple colors. Assembly is complete plug & play and required no drilling or cutting.
NB: check before ordering position of the MAF sensor. Pre-LCI and LCI (facelift) models have a different MAF configuration. Check the images for more information.
