The Airtec Motorsport Induction Kit works perfectly with the standard or modified Ford Focus Mk4 ST 2.3 EcoBoost and improves performance with a simple bolt-on modification for track use and sporty street use.
The kit replaces the original airbox and the restrictive intake setup with a freer-flowing system. The heart of it is the Group A cotton filter, which allows the engine to breathe significantly better by increasing the amount of cold air that can be drawn in. This results in more power, better performance, and an enhanced intake sound with a clearly audible turbo noise when releasing the accelerator pedal.
The filter is protected against the hot air in the engine compartment by a laser-cut heat shieldThe included aluminum intake pipe It is larger than the original for a higher internal volume and also ensures a smoother flow, whereas the original tubing varies in diameter.
The kit fits neatly in place of the original and thereby adds clear value to the engine compartment. The finish is durable black powder coating and all mounting materials and an installation manual are included for direct bolt-on mounting.
