Approximately 50 percent of the downpipe is 3.5 inches for raw flow from the turbo, the remainder is 3 inches and tapers to the original exhaust diameter so it fits directly onto the OEM exhaust or center muffler without any welding.
The V2 downpipe is made of T304 stainless steel and TIG weldedThe bigger one 3.5 inch elbow section directly after the turbo ensures maximum exhaust gas flow and lower back pressure. Production takes place in a specialized workshop in Europe, with many components finished by hand for a consistent quality standard.
The V2 downpipe has a total 3 sensor connections:
• 1x lambda sensor
• 2x temperature sensors (EGT)
Important: the original downpipe still has 2 additional connections for OPF pressure sensorsThese are not included on the V2 downpipe, as these measurements are no longer used for performance upgrades.
What you need to do:
Dismantle the metal pipes from the pressure sensors. You keep the rubber hoses over.
Capping:
• Place a cap plug or M8 bolt in each tube
• Secure with a hose clamp for 100% air tightness
Tidy up:
• Tie the tubes together behind a heat shield
• Be careful not to let them come into contact with the exhaust or moving parts
