Airtec Motorsport enclosed intake kit for the Ford Fiesta ST Mk8, developed for sporty street use and track use, where maximum airflow and low intake temperatures are central.
This complete enclosed intake kit replaces the original intake system with a much more efficient solution that provides more airflow, better throttle response, a sportier induction sound, and a sleeker look in the engine bay.
The kit was fully developed at AIRTEC HQ in the United Kingdom and uses a large free-flowing cotton air filter which is housed in a specially designed three-part airbox. This ensures the filter remains protected from hot air from the engine compartment.
To minimize heat soak as much as possible, the system uses laser-cut heat shields and a constant supply of cold air via the car's original front intake.
The kit comes with a aluminum intake pipe, all mounting materials and a clear assembly manual. Assembly is completely bolt-on, without drilling or cutting.
Optionally, there is a extra secondary cold air feed available. This provides a second supply of cold air from the grille to the airbox. In combination with the Airtec Stage 3 intercooler, it can be connected to the special Stage 3 cold air feed duct.
NB: When installing the optional Pro Hoses silicone hose, the ECU bolt must be modified.
