Extreme cooling for extreme GT-R builds – after more than 2 years of development Airtec Motorsport presents this Extreme large capacity intercooler kit, specially designed for highly modified Nissan GT-R R35 (Stage 4+).
This kit was developed for riders who demand the maximum from their setup, both on the street and during intensive track use. During the development phase, several end tank designs, boost pipe configurations, and different core types were extensively tested. Ultimately, a 110mm deep bar-and-plate core of 3 inch free-flow inlets and outlets, linked to CAD-designed end tanks for optimal air distribution.
The result is an intercooler suitable for power outputs up to 1,500 hp and charge temperatures drastically reduced at high turbo pressures.
The intercooler makes optimal use of the full lower grille opening and features a integrated air deflector to maximize airflow to the core. Despite its enormous size, the set fits neatly behind the original bumper, although slight modification of the plastic intercooler surround necessary.
This kit comes as a complete total solution, including an extensive 20-piece big boost pipe and hose set, pre-turbo intake pipes and Airtec foam air filters, together with all necessary mounting materials and clear installation instructions.
