Airtec Motorsport induction kit for the Mini Cooper S R56.
This induction kit improves the original air intake by allowing a higher air flow, resulting in better performance, faster throttle response and a clearly sportier induction sound.
The kit is Developed in-house at Airtec HQ in the UK and replaces the top portion of the original airbox with a laser-cut aluminum housing with a sustainable black powder-coated finishIn this housing, a possible large free-flow foam performance filter placed, that via a Pro Hoses silicone hose and aluminum intake connector connects to the original intake pipe. To prevent heat absorption under the hood, the housing is equipped with a air guide which supplies air directly from the original bonnet scoopThis means that the filter continuously receives fresh air, which contributes to more stable performance during sporting use.
The induction kit is a direct replacement of the original system and comes complete with all necessary mounting materials and clear installation instructions.
NB: This kit is designed for the N14 engine (2006–2010). When mounted on a N18 engine with MAF sensor in the intake pipe, the induction hose can be shortened slightly to fit correctly.
